Also, Smith wasn't bad at all this last playoffs. He won a game, and then almost got by a Patriots team with a red-hot Tom Brady who the KC D looked completely helpless against.
I know this is old news, but I was wondering how you guys felt...

In case you don't know, DePodesta was a central figure in the "Moneyball" A's teams and is whom Peter Brand was...
Eagles were stupid to fire Kelley. He almost made the playoffs with MARK SANCHEZ as his QB for half the season, and got to the postseason with Nick Foles. In case you are forgetting, those are pretty crappy players.
Now the new coach is even worse...wants to start guy who's a 2nd-stringer at best?
I don't care how good he is. He's not going to put together enough games against top teams to win. He doesn't have the qualities of a Super Bowl winning quarterback. All the QB's who win are about the TEAM, not about themselves. It takes a special character, a special leader to win the Big Game...
I don't think he will. Not if he can find a team to play for. I think that he loves the game of football too much to call it quits until he is forced out.
I thought Cleveland was a good fit, but with DePodesta coming in and presumably having a big affect on the organization, I don't think he's...
Alex Smith. I like his throwing skill and he has a decent ability to move around and make throws on the run.
Flacco is overrated. He got luck and won the Super Bowl once, but that doesn't mean he's a 20M/year QB.
