Totally right. Forgot the Yanks didn't win the title under him last year.

Mr. Cito gaston has to say something about that. Yes I said it. Sorry Jays fans but he wasn't the manager that he was when the Jays won back to back.

I really like Cito and all but I really want Sal Fasano to take over

Look at our line-up. Against the second best team in MLB who is now only one GB of us.

Well, Joe Maddon gave Carlos Pena and Ben Zobrist the day off, unless they are hurt.

They are hurt.

If A-Rod really needed rest, why not do it today? Same for Gardner?

Because you can't bench A-rod at home going for #600.

I was wondering myself, but I just looked at stats. Brett Gardner is 3-5 with a HR(WTF) against Brandon Morrow this season. I can't find data for Kearns, but I'm guessing Kearns hasn't had that success. So he sat Brett yesterday, so he could face Brandon today. Just a guess though. Also, I believe A-Rod was sat for rest, and so he could play all 3 games at home this series, to hit 600 in front of home fans.

That makes it even worse. Tampa Bay is right on or us in terms of the standings. Toronto is a inferior team and will likely finish 20+ games behind us. Hell, the line-up we put out yesterday could probably get 5 runs off of any d the Jays starters. What happened yesterday was inexcusable. If only George were still alive to see the circus that occurred yesterday at the game.

You can't say Cito is the worst in the MLB...

He's made so many questionable this year and even last year. I respect him and all but I've never really liked him as a manager.

I agree with Cito being pretty bad. The man has to learn that Edwin Encarnacion (sp?) is losing games with his sloppy defence (for example look at Thursday night, Detroit's big inning begins that's to a double play Edwin should have turned, which would have got them out of the inning). He also does nothing with the bad. If I were Cito, I would have Johnny Mac playing third everyday. Guy works hard, great in the field, a fan favourite and someone I love to watch play.

Just my two cents.
