Many believed both the Celtics and the Pistons would easily coast through the first round. However, both are tied in their series with the Hawks and the 76ers, 2-2. Which team is in worse position?

I'd say it's the Pistons. I understand Atlanta has momentum in that series, but Philly knows they can win a game on the road in Detroit, something Atlanta hasn't even come close to doing...

I say Pistons. I just believe the 76ers can out play and hustle them more so then the Hawks out playing the Celtics.

I'll go with the Celtics on this one cuz they're supposed to be the most dominant team in the NBA, yet they're losing to a team with barely any playoff experiance and a #8 seed who they should be beating up right now. I seriously hope the Hawks can continue to dominate the Celtics...

Sometimes less playoff experience is a good thing. It makes teams hungrier...

True but when you're playing a team like the Celtics and you're unexperianced and you're kicking their ass back to beantown, then you're embarrassing them.

I'd say the Pistons.

b/c the Hawks are a better team than people realize. They have a great starting lineup, and a pretty good bench. All they really need is a defensive center, so they can let Horford abuse forwards.
The Celtics didn't play too bad in the last game(except for my favorite player's missed layup), the Hawks just played better, and JJ caught fire. A team isn't going to win every game they play, and any team in the NBA has the chance of being beaten if a superstar catches fire. The score was relatively close in both of the Hawks wins, whereas the Celtics blow them out. The Celtics are one of the best, if not the best, defensive teams in the league, they'll make their adjustments and you won't see JJ explode for 20 in the 4th anymore.

now to the Pistons and Sixers. The Sixers have beaten the Pistons in a close game, and they have blown them out in one game. All without a big game from their best player. Detroit is the better team, but they need to watch out b/c the SIxers think they can win this series, and Iggy is due for a big game(Tayshaun has been playing him good). The Pistons will probably win in 7, but if Iggy starts playing at the level he's capable of, the SIxers could steal this series.

But the same can be said about the Pistons vs 76ers series. The Pistons are supposed to be the 2nd toughest team in the league, they also have loads of playoff experience. And the 76ers have little to no playoff experience, and are also a low seed team, that beat out the Pistons in Detroit.

This is a good question and CC was smart to ask it. But I'd go with the Celtics and we will all see when the Hawks BEAT the C's the next 2 games.

As much as I like the Hawks at the moment, and as much as I want to see them suceed, I don't think they will either.

Neither team is in a "bad position."

I don't think either will lose either, but they both were in situations neither team thought they'd be in.

Rip, seriously, it's about time you quit hating on the Magic. The East has four teams with a legit chance of making the Finals, and the Magic are obviously one of them...

What's up with people hating on everyone else's teams constantly? Like, why doesn't anyone give respect to any team?

I mean, we all know that the Pistons aren't going to be an elite team in the East 2 years from now, the Magic will probably take over as best team in the East once the Celtics age catches up with them, and perhaps the Bulls as well, if they ever get a dominant big man. There are facts about every team that will likely come true in the future.

Do you guys do it to make conversation or do you really have the energy to argue about why the Pistons or Magic is a better team?
