I get why there were pre-draft rumors of Boston trading up for him... he and Jaylen would be a dope pairing as role men, with JT and Kyrie being a duo as shooters, and Al+Gordon being the "glue guys".

So Boston was going to be able to trade up to that high in the draft without giving up any of their good players? Hmmmm

“Basketball is sort of mind-controlling,” said Ben Wallace. “It takes you on a journey of extreme highs and extreme lows. It almost makes you need it. One day I can go out and get 20 rebounds and tomorrow I can come out and get seven or eight. Now, you’re sort of waiting for the next time to prove yourself. When you retire, you start feeling left out, no one’s really checking on you, you ain’t getting no phone calls that you used to get. Then you start to get low, but there’s no game tomorrow to lift you up, so you just keep sinking and sinking.”

Damn Ben opened up about his depression

Good article

I saw that by Big Ben, sad. Matt Barnes said you gotta have different business ventures set up to make the transition easier.

I hear the Suns will probably just run Booker at PG. I wonder how he'll do with that.

I think it was a fantasy basketball dude who said it on twitter. Josh Lloyd. Let me see if I can find his sources.

and before McDonough was fired he was trying to get a PG so we'll see what they do with the new boss

I'm skeptical of Booker at PG. Just don't think he has handles like that but it's also not a bad thing to give him the ball and ask him to make plays

Should help his development

Apparently James Jones the interim GM said "I have 0 concerns putting the ball in Booker's hands for 35 minutes a game."
