Literally 1 week ago 95% of Mets fans were saying it was time to "take off the saran wrap" and let these pitchers pitch through soreness.

Thor has bicep soreness, he throws a session and feels fine, refuses MRI. 1.1 innings in, hurts his arm. Every Mets fan "THEY MISMANAGED THIS!"

Ugh, I give up.

Im not happy to see bumgarner and noah hurt. Id much rather their teams lose with them either pitching well or getting lit up every 5th day

But i am glad that i dont have to see or hear anything about them for a while. My two least favorites lol

Kershaw is far and away better than these guys. The only reason he hasnt won 6 straight cy youngs is because:
dickey had a fluke season(kersh had better numbers)

arrieta had a fluky run and was the media darling (kersh had 300 k's and a sub-2 era)

and last year kersh in his best season was injured (149 ip. 172k/11bb. 1.69 ERA. Tied with noah as WAR leader despite missing 2 months. 6.5 fwar)

Kershaw should win it every year, though Scherzer was deserving for 2016.

I'd say the same about Trout with MVP only if they didn't inconsistently choose from a playoff team one year and a non-playoff team the next. Mookie Betts should have won last year if you consider the fact that the three years before were all players who had made the playoffs (and weren't necessarily the best choice but got MVP because they made the postseason).

I'd much rather see Mookie Betts with MVP then Rick Porcello with Cy Young.
