They definitely waited on this guy too long.

Even if he struggles, i hope that doesn't hurt him next season, because a lot of guys have that adjustment period.

I do think he's gonna be a beast though.

he's only 21 and they want him to be able to hold his own catching, because 1B is locked up and ARod and Jeter are going to be DHing a lot next season

call him up earlier, with martin playing a great catcher, it stunts his development a tad
and Andruw has been hitting bombs and Chavez is playing well

but if he was bored then he wasn't pressured enough. Sure he probably was improving on his defensive skills, but offensively he might not have been as motivated as he was last season.
