Card notes:
- Leonard Garcia was set to fight Tyler Toner, but was pulled for another fight. Team Quest fighter, and IFL veteran, Ian Loveland will step in as his replacement. Originally, it was thought that Garcia pulled out of the bout due to undisclosed injury he was forced to withdraw from the bout. It was later confirmed that Leonard Garcia is not injured will be facing Nam Phan in a featherweight bout on the main card; being the 1st televised featherweight fight in UFC history.

- This will be the first event in the UFC that will integrate the lower weight classes from the WEC.
