The Rangers like the idea of moving slugger Josh Hamilton to left field, where they feel he'd be less likely to suffer an injury.

"Well, we feel that between [Julio] Borbon and our young center field prospect [Engel] Beltre that we have two center field prospects that could possibly come in and play everyday," Nolan Ryan told the Dallas Morning News.

"And if they did, then obviously, that would move Josh to left field and give us the luxury of playing him in a position where we don’t think it’d be as hard on him and he’d probably be less inclined to sustain an injury."
