The Indians are the most-hated team in baseball, according to an Internet algorithm built by Nielsen Co.

The service typically uses various keywords to find out whether people have positive, negative or neutral reactions to different brands and products.

Teams were measured on a scale from -5 to 5. While no teams registered negative, only six teams had a rating lower than 2.

The Indians posted a 0.9, while the Yankees placed sixth-worst with a 1.8 rating.

The Giants (4.5) and Athletics (4.2) were the most-liked team on the scale.

The Indians are the most hated team in baseball. Wow lol.

This is misleading IMO. Most of the "keywords" are probably said by Indians fans who <Censored> about how bad they are. Not that it's other fans saying they hate the Indians.

Yankees have to easily be the most hated team, as well as most loved. Followed by the Red Sox.

Probably rival fans of the Phillies, Red Sox and Brewers who made comments such as "<Censored> the Indians" after trades we made. And Indians fans online complain more then any fans about their team.

Nah, it's cause they steal players in FA and because of A-Rod lol. A-Rod just pisses me off, but hatred is what makes the game anyway. Without rivalries, baseball isn't the same.
