Posey Ready For Game Action

In the 15 minute interview, Posey maintained that he is "very happy and pleased with where [he is]" in the recovery process.

"Getting in there and playing some games is the next step."

Posey and the Giants won't have to wait too long for that important step; pitchers and catchers report to Arizona for Spring Training on Feb. 19. Head athletic trainer Dave Groeschner has a detailed plan for how much Posey will be catching throughout Spring Training. Posey knows the "game situation is going to be a little different," and the goal is to be ready to take the field uninhibited on Opening Day April 6 in Arizona.
