Arian Foster won last week.

Who is better? Cameron Wake, or Clay Matthews.

Cameron Wake

Tackles 49
Sacks 14.0
Forced Fumbles 3
Interceptions 0

Clay Matthews

Tackles 51
Sacks 12.5
Forced Fumbles 1
Interceptions 1

Gonna have to go with my boy Cameron Wake here. He just been playing better lately.

Went with Wake too, haven't seen either of them play a whole lot so I went from a pure numbers standpoint.

I havent seen Wake play but Matthes is a DOPY candidate and is a BEAST on the field. So going with him.

This is kind of a fun topic. Wake is a heck of a talent, I saw him a lot when he played for BC here, and he just messed things up in the CFL. I am kind of surprised he is putting up these kind of numbers in the NFL, though.

However, he is very raw and I think Matthews is a pretty darn proven guy.

How is Clay a proven guy? This is his 2nd season. This is also Wake's second season.

He's just much more established in my eyes. He is a complete player, and truly COMPLETELY vital to the success of that Green Bay defense.

There is a difference.

Essentially, you're going with Clay because of the media coverage he got, whereas Wake isn't getting any.

I just don't understand how you can get one player being more proven than the other when they're both in their second year and one is outperforming the other. Doesn't make any sense to me.

Wake isn't demolishing Clay in stats.. It really isn't as bad as you are saying.

Clay has been a pillar, and with all the injuries on that Packers defense I think he is just proving his worth even more by still playing good football.

They're both are great players, there's no doubt about that. I'd want either/or on my team, but Cameron is the guy I'd want.
