An MRI has revealed damage to the ulnar collateral ligament in Patrick Corbin's left elbow.
It's awful news for the Diamondbacks. Corbin will receive a second opinion this week, but it would be a surprise if he doesn't wind up having Tommy John surgery. Wade Miley will now get a start in Australia against the Dodgers in Corbin's place, while Randall Delgado will replace him in the rotation. The news also increases the likelihood that Archie Bradley will play a big role for the club this season.
Had the pleasure of drafting him in my fantasy draft last night too. Congrats to me!
