NBA Team Thread Captains

I considered hosting nominations for the Team Captain jobs...however....

For the good of the site, I opted to not waste the time and just get the Team Threads as active as fast as possible. I mean we all pretty much could of guessed who would be the Captains of the Team Forums anyways. Looking up and down the NFL & NBA Captain lists, all familiar names, all guys who I already trust to do a good job.

The only problem we have is 2-4 fans wanted to Captain the same team. A minor problem though seeing how we all mature enough to share the duties or just opt to take Captain a different team while still contributing to your Fav. Team's Forum at the same time.

If the Captain slots all fill up and a waiting list begins...perhaps elections could be something to think about down the road.

ya in the long run like annually we could do elections for each team spot.

Three is a bit much dont you think? Especially considering the lack of all-around fans that SI has.

Awesome idea by AE, thought I'd jump on it but you could probably just go and replace me with Mexi' or something, since I can't be as active as I would like to be. So me being a capt' wouldn't fit.

I agree there should be only 1 per team, so that would make people sign up for other teams, and that way we would be closer to having 30 teams instead of 10.

I will probably hold elections for team captains after all teams have been filled up.

Or if any of you guys have any more suggestions to make this run smoothly. I just want to make sure I get people dedicated to team they chose.
