The Nationals and free-agent first baseman Adam LaRoche are currently negotiating a contract, reports Jen Royle of MASN.
"Source: Adam LaRoche is currently in negotiations with the Nationals on a multi-year deal in the $8-9 million per year range," Royle wrote on his Twitter page.
