Mets Still Pursuing Granderson & Cruz

According to reports, the Mets continue to show interest in free-agent outfielders Nelson Cruz and Curtis Granderson, despite concerns about their asking prices…

• The Cubs, Tigers, White Sox and Astros are said to also have interest in Granderson, who is reportedly seeking at least a four-year deal.
   
• Cruz is looking for a four-year, $75 million contract (Heyman).
   
•  The Mets are definitely seeking a power-hitting corner outfielder, and are continuing to pursue Cruz and Granderson, among others (Heyman).

Granderson going from Yankee Stadium to Citi and Cruz going from Arlington to Citi are going to be in for a rude awakening.

Yea. I wouldn't mind Cruz but not for that price, and I don't think Granderson would fit in Citi at all. 
 
Plus Mets fans may like those HR numbers but eventually they'll complain about the Strikeouts.
