Not a real shocker. Brodie wants to bring in his own guy, even though the team did not give up on him, nor did he give up on them. He made some tactical errors during the season, but the team won 9 more games in 2019 than in 2018.
Buck Showalter could be a candidate for this job, as this team is ready to win now.

I've read the Mets want somebody with a lot of experience, but personally I don't care about experience - I want the right guy, that's it. 8/10 managers in this postseason are first time managers.
