After pondering his future for a day, John Lynch has opted to leave the Denver Broncos, KCNC Denver reports. The television station, in which Lynch has appeared on numerous times, confirms that Lynch will leave the team and continue to weight his options both in and out of the game.
Lynch, 37, has been noted to be unhappy with his role on the team. Lynch has been practicing with the first team defense but not in Nickel and Dime packages that has significantly cut his time on the field.
Lynch nearly retired last season but was enticed by Ownership to return. Last week, Mike Shannahan said that there were no guarantees Lynch would play this season.
This off-season the Broncos added safties Marquad Manual and Marlon McCree. -AE
