Kovalchuk Headed to China

Kovy had a massive falling out with SKA St. Petersburg during their KHL playoff run. He was taken out of the lineup for the 1st round, put back in after threats of leaving the club, and then removed again. Reports from Moscow are saying Kovalchuk has opted to join the KHL's expansion team from China next season, instead of heading back to the NHL. 
 

The 32-year-old had 16 goals and 49 points in 50 KHL regular season games this season. He had no points in four playoff games.
