Just installed new texts...PROBLEM

"Could not complete your request because something prevented the text engine from being initialized"

That error pops up when I try to use the text tool.

i think RedBull had the same problem recently.
i have no clue on how to fix besides deleting the font

How would I get the fonts I need then? =/

People said to restart your photoshop and if that doesnt work try re-installing ps.

if its happened to more than one person, jarrod is probably right that its the file

try downloading from another place

Does anyone have a link to NFL fonts besides the ones SG posted?

I had the same problem. But when I clicked the text tool ps crashed. I rember not having my font on my hdd. I had everything on my 8gb usb drive. I just copyed all the font and made a new folder and drop it in there. Try resetting your prefences.

i just recently had the same problem cuz i installed 1300 fonts at once and then ps would either crash when i tried to use the text tool or take forever for a change to show up if i did something like lower the opacity or change the blending style. if i wanted it to go faster i had to click off of the tool i was on then click another one. i ended up deleting all of the fonts i could after about 1400 clicks of the mouse and then it finally started working again.
