Is it possible to open a .PNG image in Photoshop? If it makes a difference, I'm talking about CS5.

yes, and if it was saved without a background it will open with a blank background

for example the cuts in our cut gallery are saved in PNG form so when u DL it and open it theres no BG in the cut

which photoshop you got? I might have to change things up unless you're on CS5 aswell.

Just found out that when I open them in GIMP ( not to edit, just to save under .PNG whether or not that is the file-format already, it will allow me to open the image in CS5 )
