If you were starting a team tomorrow do you take Harper or Trout to build around?

Trout forsure. Love Harper too, though.

Even though Trout is built like a linebacker, I don't know how many 30 home runs seasons he has left in him.

I'll take Harper.

What do you guys think Trouts body fat % is? Dude has like my ideal build, but he isn't even ripped like that. Just fucking swole as hell.

I wonder what the poll would have looked like if I made it at the end of last season.

It'd be dumb not to choose Trout at that point, imo. Dude was looking like he'd be the GOAT haha.

I know haha. Just interesting to see how perceptions change after less than a month of baseball

I voted Harper myself.

Guess I'm dumb. Harper shoulda won NL Roy easily. Those numbers that he put up as a 19 year old are unreal. Trout had a helluva 2012 season but I just think Bryce will be unstoppable.

Holy shit is Trout really 230 pounds? Sorry, just found this article: http://espn.go.com/mlb/preview13/story/_/id/9084528/mike-trout-vs-bryce-harper

snipe, you're not dumb, I don't think you could go wrong with either one right now, but I think basing it off of JUST 2012, Trout wins. His numbers were quite a bit better than Bryce's in the same amount of games played. Not saying Trout will be better for the future though, because I have no idea.

Whatever, I mean we all know that they'll eventually be in a Yankee uniform.

i said harper after like a month of trout going crazy last year because of his power potential
but with trout playing LF now, and last year he was so good there's nowhere to go but down, i'll take Harper

so it looks like everyone flipped lol. we'll see after next season.

I'd have taken Harper last year, and will obviously still take him now. I liken Trout to early Bonds, through say 91. Harper to me is like Bonds of 92-2000. Obviously neither will draw the walks that Bonds did, but the rest I think is solid.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Harper put up 600 homers with 300 steals, Trout 350 homers and 450 steals, something like that.

harper. i didnt expect trout to play the season he had last, again, at least not so soon. harper will be a stud year-in-year-out, on and off the field.

what a clown question, bro.

Trout. I don't get why everyone is jumping off the trout train so soon. it's only been 1 month in to the season.
