Well, I totally forgot about this. As did everyone else, apparently. We never finished seeing who would win, because like every tournament we run here at SI, we lose interest after a while.

So I took some action, and created the 20-team roster on NBA 2K15. Each team needed 13 players on a team, so the rest of the rosters were filled with just general players, nobody that I felt would impact a game.

I did a one-season simulation, where I removed the other NBA teams that we didnt use, with those Euro teams. But then came the issue of 11 East teams and 9 in the West, so I moved the Charlotte Hornets to the West.

Here are the teams overall ratings. for reference:

Bulls: 93 overall, 96 offense, 90 defense
Spurs: 93 overall, 91 offense, 94 defense
Heat: 92 overall, 90 offense, 94 defense
Lakers: 90 overall, 91 offense, 89 defense
Blazers: 89 overall, 93 offense, 85 defense
Rockets: 88 overall, 90 offense, 86 defense
Suns: 88 overall, 89 offense, 87 defense
Hornets: 88 overall, 89 offense, 86 defense
Raptors: 88 overall, 88 offense, 87 defense
Hawks: 88 overall, 86 offense, 90 defense
Pelicans: 87 overall, 87 offense, 88 defense
Warriors: 86 overall, 89 offense, 83 defense
Celtics: 86 overall, 86 offense, 85 defense
Nuggets: 86 overall, 85 offense, 87 defense
Pistons: 86 overall, 84 offense, 88 defense
Kings: 83 overall, 85 offense, 80 defense
Sixers: 82 overall, 81 offense, 83 defense
Cavaliers: 82 overall, 80 offense, 83 defense
Magic: 81 overall, 82 offense, 79 defense
Knicks: 79 overall, 81 offense, 77 defense

After simming the season, here are the results.

Read the 3rd paragraph. I had to move yall to the west; you're the #2 seed in the west

For some reason, it won't let me view the past sim, so I just simmed it again. Different results, obviously, but with some being similar (Bulls 1 seed, Knicks below .500), there are other big differences (Cavs improve to 51 wins, Spurs drop to 59 wins and a 2 seed)

Interestingly, your team did a lot better (still at 61 wins and now the 1 seed). Harden won MVP again, too. And you guys won the Finals, over Orlando (lol what).

Here's your stat lines
