The moves made by Brian Cashman are all under a microscope given his job as general manager of the Yankees.
While he says he's less impulsive in his decisions than he was in the early stages of his tenure, Cashman admitted on Tuesday night that he does second-guess his moves.
He told a crowd at Sacred Heat University that after completing a signing or trade, he'll immediately experience "buyer's remorse" -- wondering if he made the correct decision and worrying about the long-term ramifications.
Cashman also let on that while it's true that Jesus Montero may turn out to be the best player he has ever traded, he felt he needed to pump up the young hitter to justify the value of Michael Pineda.
The Yankees dealt Montero and Hector Noesi to the Mariners for Pineda and Jose last month.
