Brewers Hire Ron Roenicke as Manager

Despite recent rumors that the Brewers' top choice for Manager was former manager Bobby Valentine, the Brewers decided to hire candidate Ron Roenicke as the club's new Manager. In the past Roenicke managed the Angels for 11 years and played Outfield in the Majors years ago with a variety of teams.

Anybody else not surprised? I mean it sounded like the Brewers wanted Valentine for a while but not sure if Valentine wanted the Brewers.
