So i know a lot of guys like to say after everything is said and done, "Oh I had them winning the Super Bowl the whole time" but no one ever has any evidence to back it up. Or "Oh I said he could be a starter and look at him coming off the bench and playing well"

This thread will be for all that. Predict anything about the 2016 season, and then once it happens you can link back to this thread to show you called it.

Love what Zimmer is doing with the Vikings. Unfortunately for us I think if AP makes it to the big game I think he goes off.

Minnesota will never make it to the Super Bowl while handicapping their offense to Adrian Peterson. It's time for him to be an asset and not a focal point. When he is running crazy, make him the focal point. When he isn't running crazy, stop forcing the ball to him.

Their offense is built around Peterson getting 300+ carries.

I'm sorry, but Vikings fans are completely ridiculous

You have a QB with one of the weakest arms among starters in the league, one of the weakest core of WRs to throw it to, and y'all want to not give the ball to the best offensive player on the team, a Top 3 RB? Please.

I want the offense to show some balance so Peterson can maximize his carries, and the WR position is just fine. We also have 3 TEs who can be good in the passing game. It's time to maximize this offense. Fuck AP

The receivers are fine, but they don't have a vertical threat, and Bridgewater has an average arm at best.  Taking Treadwell in the first further emphasizes the conservative approach to the passing game.

Jarius Wright can be a vertical threat. He's extremely underrated. He's not a given to be a vertical threat, but he finds a way to get open down field.

I think Minnesota has a sleeper fantasy stud in Mycole Pruitt at TE if he gets enough snaps.

They had Mike Wallace last year and he was ineffective. It's not the receivers -- it's the quarterback. Hell, Brady doesn't have a deep game either, but it's a much stronger arm than Teddy

Bridgewater is a solid QB. He isn't bad at all, not someone you need to replace. But you have to realize his strengths and go from there.

Vikings have a great defense, so keep them rested! Run the damn ball a ton to create less opportunities for the opponent (although Jerrick needs to get more carries to create some misdirection of power/speed), and throw short-intermediary passes to move the chains. You don't need 40 yard bombs like the Steelers, you need 12 yard gains for first downs. That's how they'll win -- not by throwing the ball deep to Jarius Wright lol

The Vikings are eerily similar to the Chiefs lol

I agree with you 100% that McKinnon needs more carries. The dude is electric.

I'm not saying the Vikings should look to throw deep. I'm just saying that Wright does find ways to get open down field.

Bengals get to the Super Bowl and lose to Mike Zimmer? That'd hurt.
