I read this morning that Riley spoke at a seson ticket holder dinner or something last night and told them that the Heat were definitely interested in signing Odom. Guess it was true.
That would be good for both the fans and the NBA I think. Seems like everyone hates the Lakers and would definitely be cheering for a Clipper organization to do better.
Agreed! The teams that do make it to the finals and even the final four teams do step up and play some defense when the game is on the line. The majority of the league though either plays an offensive game or the teams just suck all together. I'm not a Heat fan at all and could care less...
Hope Chicago can pull a trade off using Kirk Heinrich and still keep Tyrus Thomas. As much as I don't like Thomas' offensive game his ability to block shots from the weak side is a huge plus for a small team like Chicago. With Boozer we won't gain any sort of defense but his scoring in the low...
The day he lost in the thournement and was crying on the court was the day I knew he'd be soft. Most dudes lose and come back and whoop that arse. Not cry! BUST!!!!
It's not an exageration at all. Go look at the final scores of all the playoff games this year and you'll see the majority of them have 100+ to upper 90's as the final score. The differnce in scoring stems from the defensive rule changes they have made the past 10 years not how better players...
I'm sure he knows why but it was kinda funny how he was bustin Horace Grant and Tom Gugliotta's balls. Could you imagine how sick a Jordan/Pippen combo would have been on the game.
No one plays defense anymore man. They won championships because the other team didn't play defense. Championship games prior to this decade were scores in the mid 80's to low 90's. Now we're seeing low 100's to 120's. That's a difference of 30-40 points which equals no defense and more offense.
