I just can't see the Lions passing on Amukamara. It wouldn't make any sense... but that is usually how the Lions operate, so who the hell knows.

The Lions would never pass on Prince if he falls to them.

How could they?

If he does get past the Texans (I am believing more and more now he could, ha, actually) I just don't see him making it past the Lions.

They can't pass on that kind of talent, and a need filled at their spot.

Simple.

If Detroit has Bowers higher than Prince on their board, they'll take him. Their starting DEs are KVB (OLD) and Cliff Avril (not good).. They need DE help just as much as CB.

If Prince doesn't get selected to the Lions, then St. Louis won't take him, they have bigger needs, and Miami won't take him (Have Davis/Sean Smith). He'll be right in the Jags lap.

And their corners are Chris Houston and Alphonso Smith, lol.

Pass rushers are deep in this class. Corners are top heavy. Prince and Peterson are the only "Elite" corners this year. Amukamara would yield greater value.

Since when was Cliff Avril not good...
Since uh forever?
He was okay last season, but that was due to Suh and KVB being with him.

I love Avril, hes from Jacksonville, but hes just not that good.

I'm sorry, but Prince does not hold better Value than Bowers. After Bowers its

JJ Watt
Ryan Kerrigan
Cam Jordan
Aldon Smith
Robert Quinn

Anybody else I'm forgetting? After that, its like fucking Clayborn.

You might have a shot at a Jimmy Smith or Aaron Williams in round 2.

They'd take Bowers over Prince.

Alphonso Smith held his own last year.

So explain to me how Bowers has more value. I think you basically just proved my point.

Bowers has more value, every DE i listed will be drafted before the Lions pick again. So there would be no value at DE in the 2nd. While there would be value at CB.

Houston, Reed, Clayborn, Sheard, Bailey, Acho, Ballard. All fringe 1st/2nd/3rd round prospects. I think the fact that Prince is only one of two first round caliber corners speaks volumes about how much more value he holds than a DE that early in the first round.

We all know this is you rationalizing trying to convince yourself and everyone that Prince will fall to 16. I'll let you have it. :)

Houston, Reed, Clayborn, Ballard, Sheard will all be gone by time the lions pick in the 2nd round.

NOPE! NOT ONE FUCK WAS GIVEN.

I just seriously think he can fall to 16.

Kinda like Eugene Monroe did in 2009. Was projected a top 4 pick, fell to 8.
