As we move into SI version 3.0, we are bringing along lots of great new things! We are keeping these a secret for another few days, however, we are looking for some more people to help out. We have people from the SI Magazine helping us with a project, but we are going to need some more people.
The idea behind this movement, is to bring us prepared for the future of the internet; along with the future of sports. As many can see, the internet has vastly improved with the addition of HTML5, and along with it we will be bringing ourselves. On March 15th, the board will be closed all day, and we'll be open as of the 16th.
I digress, but we need people who are willing to spend a few minutes a day adding articles (properly cited) into our website that is being built. These people will be required to go through an RSS feed and add 3 or 4 new articles to the website each day, from various sports hubs across the web. ESPN, TSN, etc., are all integral parts of the sports world and we need to keep up with them!
We are looking for people to either post (and properly cite) articles from these big sports units, as well as a few more article writers. As time goes on, these people will be rewarded in various ways on and off the board.
Anyway, if you are interested, please contact Marcum28 via PM, or jarrod2323, with an explanation of your dedication to SI, and if you are interested in writing articles, at minimum two examples. Over the next few days, we will look at applications and send PMs to those who get accepted the information they need to log in.
