Pretty much had this come into my head on a ride home and wanted to get yalls opinion on it. We all know DWade is lined up to be a Free Agent this offseason and it isn't known if he'll return to Miami or not. One of the reasons is because Miami hasn't got enough help for him.

So now, going back and looking at the trade for Shaq. I know they got a championship, which tops all. But did they sacrifice the future, and potentially lose a Superstar like DWade because of it? When you look at it, they traded Caron Butler, Lamar Odom, Brian Grant and a 1st rounder for Shaq. Like I said, a championship tops all, but how do you think the Heat changed their future with that trade?

What got me thinking was a comment talking about Lebron. Bascially what was said is this:

"What's more important to Cleveland, a championship or keeping Lebron."

The man said it has to be James, because without him there is no championship.
