Source: Pitt hires Mike Haywood

Pittsburgh has hired Miami of Ohio coach Mike Haywood as its new head coach, a source close to the situation said Wednesday night.

I like this signing for Pitt. He has shown his worth when he turned around Miami this last year, leading them to be 8-1 in conference play. Hopefully he does a better job than Dave did with this team.
