Nerlens Noel will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL. Noel suffered the injury on Tuesday in Kentucky's loss to Florida.

Noel has been widely expected to be one of the first players selected in the 2013 NBA Draft.

Noel was initially supposed to be in the incoming freshman class of 2013, but reclassified for 2012.

Please get rid of the picture. Come on dude some people don't want to see that....

Feel terrible for NerlEns. By all accounts he's a great kid and hopefully this doesn't jeopardize his future.

No he's going pro. He'll be a top 5 pick regardless.

every team thatll be in the position to draft him will realize theyll need to bring him along slowly and theyll take that chance with him. hes still worth the top pick.

I didn't ever think he was the top pick anyways.

“There just isn’t a player that’s out there that has his upside,” said Chad Ford, ESPN’s NBA draft analyst. “Nerlens isn’t like Anthony Davis last year where every person agreed … but to me he’s got the best shot of being the No. 1 pick. The majority of NBA guys that I speak to have him there.”

I agree with you, there is nobody worth the "#1 pick." That's all I'm saying.

I think it's between Noel and McLemore.

i think down the line the better offensive player will be mac but ners will be able to change the game with defense and teams will still value that more. it can all depend on which teams have the top 3 picks though.

I'd still take him #1 even with the injury.
