MLB & NBA Sim League

So before the sites are merged I'm curious what interest there is in starting up two sim leagues. An MLB league and an NBA League. I know the NBA one is popular. 
 
ADFS already has a few leagues, but the MLB one is dead & some of the leagues are new. one of the NBA leagues is very old, already at year 2029. But if there's enough interest we can start up some new ones as well.

i said yes and no. mostly because ive never lasted in the mlb sim and the nba sims are much more mobile friendly.

Tbh im not sure how much interest you'll get for NHL or MLB leagues from SI's end. It could provide a little spark, but it's not enough


You start an NBA sim league with CC as the commish, complete redraft (2000) and it will be legit af. This site would have been extinct a while ago if we didn't have these leagues

We don't actually need a spark in the NHL league, we have 30 GMs, it would just be cool if a team opened if one of you joined.

If you guys want to start a 2000 NBA league, then I certainly recommend it

Why start sim leagues here when the site is apparently consolidating with another on a different domain? Why not just wait until that happens first?

We are. I'm trying to see what interest there is here before the sites merge. That way I have some idea.

I tried running an MLB league at alldayfs but it died immediately. So I was curious how many members at SI would join if the league came over here and statted ovet. Sadly there's not as much interest as I had hoped.

I was hoping for a few more guys interested in the MLB league. It would be retro - probably late 90s or early 2000s just so we have real players in the drafts. But I won't start it up unless I'm confident it will be full and active.

MLB Leagues are far too tough to keep up with.

Should start like 2005 rosters. Loses its appeal when randomly generated drafted players start to appear. You're good for like two years and then it's randoms.

We already started and everyone is good with it.
