I wanted to take the time to thank everyone for another great year on SI. \

We are quickly approaching the 5-year mark and we still have a great nucleus of members.

I look forward to our staff and members making SI even better in 2010.



On a side note - for those who don't know, I'm stuck in a hotel in Wichita Falls, Texas for Christmas. If you've been following the news, you can see how hard North Texas and Oklahoma was hit by the winter storm yesterday. A normal 1 hour drive took me and my family 16 hours due to the icy conditions and wrecks.
It was the most freakishly scary experience of my life thinking we would have to spend Christmas in a car on the freeway.

I'm so emotionally, physically, and mentally exhausted. I would post more here, but needed an escape from the TV.

I really look forward to once again posting more and contributing to the site starting next week.

I just ask you all to be thankful that you're not in my predicament and are with family & friends this day. and maybe, you, too can help SI start off with a bang come 2010

Merry Christmas Jarrod, and if it helps at all we've gotten more then a foot of snow in the last day and a half, mixed with some freezing rain and sleet. Sorry to hear about your bad luck.
