The Detroit Lions have found a successor for Calvin Johnson.
The team will be signing wide receiver Marvin Jones once free agency opens Wednesday, according to Dianna Marie Russini of ESPN.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the deal is expected to be worth $8 million per year.
Widely considered one of the top receivers available on the open market, Jones is coming off the best season of his career with 65 catches for 816 yards and four touchdowns.
