Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy was involved in an altercation with three off-duty police officers in Philadelphia over the weekend that left two officers with broken ribs, according to multiple reports.
The incident occurred at Recess Lounge in the Old City district late Saturday night/early Sunday morning, a law enforcement official told John Gonzalez of CSN Philly.
Former NFL running back Curtis Brinkley was also involved in the altercation, which began over "a dispute over the purchase of champagne" between the men when "(Brinkley) grabbed the bottle," according to a police report.
Neither McCoy nor Brinkley were arrested, but they are the focus of a police investigation, Philadelphia ABC affiliate WPVI-TV reports.
