NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma quarterback Landry Jones, the school's all-time leading passer, announced Thursday that he is returning to school for his senior year.
No surprise there. He could win a championship next season with that team.

I don't think so. OK really needed him to stay. Blake Bell isn't ready to take over. Also I don't think another year will hurt him, he and Barkley could fight for no 1 overall next season. And unlike Barkley he could win a national championship and maybe a Heisman (thought Matt can do that too).

I think Barkley is the best QB out of USC since Palmer personally and that he'll be the most successful, but Landry has a good shot at being a Pro Bowler in the NFL as well.

I think Tyler Bray will take everyone by storm next year. He's got the tools neither Barkley nor Jones have. Though I've never been high on Barkley, even with his hype.

How? A guy that dropped his stock all the way to the 3rd round with horrible play is thread worthy?

He still would have been a first rounder Kam. No WAY he was a 3rd.

LOL.. ok.. whatever. Bet you he wouldn't of been a 1st rounder.

If he would have been, he would of came out.

Luck would have gone #1 last year, and didn't come out.

1st round money doesn't sway everyone.

The difference is being a top 20 pick, and a top 10 pick. That's about $5 million dollars.

By your standard, then, if Barkley would have been a 1st round pick, he would have came out.
Not even close. He went back to school to develop more and improve his stock to top 3, just like Jones did to improve to top 10.

Once pro day, and everything else came.. He would of been a 2nd round pick.. Also due to teams just waiting till next year to spend a high draft pick on QB.

He would have been a mid-late first, and going back will only hurt his stock.

No lol. He would have done well at his pro day. He has a strong arm, is accurate, etc. What really hurt him was pocket presence. Anything away from the field would help him, because he's a natural passer. Would look good out of pads. That's where he would impress most.
