LA Dodgers Sign Japanese Ace Kenta Maeda

The Dodgers have reached agreement on a deal with Japanese righty Kenta Maeda, Christopher Meola reports on Twitter. Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com has confirmed the signing via Twitter.
 
Financial terms have yet to be reported, but Maeda was posted with a release fee at the $20MM maximum. That means that Los Angeles will stand to owe that amount up front to the Hiroshima Carp, in addition to the terms agreed upon with the soon-to-be 28-year-old.
