Any of you ever heard of Ricardo Gathers? He plays for my old highschool and will be a top recruit the year he graduates. He's only a sophomore right now but he's about 6'8 240 lbs.

Anyone else has any local guys who could make it big in the NBA?

He's in college now but I used to watch Alec Burks play in HS last year for grandview. Never imagined he'd be a top 15 prospect next year.

Kyrie Irving from Elizabeth, NJ. Touted by many as "next year's John Wall." He'll likely replace the graduating Scheyer in the Blue Devil starting line-up.

Yep. Gilchrist is likely heading to UNC in 2011.

They couldn't play in the state tournament this year because the head coach was caught being in the gym with players during open gym.

No one has ever came out of my school for any sports.

A few go to division 2 and 3 schools, but we are just too random lol.

I played with Artem Wallace and Jon Brockman, not on the same team but against them in tourneys. Brockman went to Snohomish, WA and Wallace went to Toledo, WA. Wallace played in our league, he was a monster. Both went on to play at UW and as you all know Brockman is in the NBA.

Karon Abraham from RM may not have the size but he is legit, he played about 20 minutes away from me at Paterson Catholic.

EDIT: And I played against Ashton Gibbs (Seton Hall Prep) from Pitt in HS his senior year (my junior year).

I live in Canada so I know the competition isn't great but 2 kids from my school played for Team Ontario and could go Division 2 or even Division 1 if they get noticed.
