It really isn't a sign of much, whether McNeill is going to sign or not, but regardless, this has to get done for the Chargers. This guy is a little bit overrated in my eyes, but a premier LT in the league, he helps that team so much in the passing game especially.Chargers GM A.J. Smith met with unsigned restricted free agent LT Marcus McNeill at the team's practice facility on Wednesday.
While it's believed the visit produced "nothing tangible," it could be a sign that one the of the sides is budging. McNeill has skipped all spring and summer workouts in hopes of landing a new contract. Without him, the Chargers are sitting on the NFL's worst left tackle situation east of Buffalo.
