I like the topics for week 6 but my concern is people on here are going to judge them based on how "cool" they look rather than how effective they are as an album, flyer, or poster design. On gfx sites like these art is created and judged almost exclusively from an aesthetical perspective which is fine but it doesn't account for the purpose or function of design mediums mentioned.

Aren't the functions of the designs to aesthetically please the eyes of the beholder? 
 
I don't know if you were here when we had the GFX-Pert movie poster round, but that worked very well.

Nobody is getting paid to make any of these designs so functionality doesn't matter really. It will work fine, like the movie posters in the pert did.
