ESPN - Daunte Culpepper signed with the UFL's Sacramento Mountain Lions on Monday.

He'll play for coach Dennis Green, who drafted the quarterback with the 11th overall pick back in 1999 with the NFL's Vikings.

"My goal for this year was to get on the field and play football," Culpepper said in a statement released by the league. "When the opportunity came for me to sign with the UFL and play for coach Green in Sacramento I could not resist. I am impressed with his approach to the game and to his players."
Hah, curious to see how he does.
But the dude just didn't even come close to have the talent of the NFL anymore.

I read the title and was like WTF.... Hahaha. He was never really that good, throwing it up to Randy Moss 50 yards down field and watching him make the catch isn't that tough.

Damn, now if they could sign Moss and bring Randle and Carter out of retirement.
