Detroit mayor Dave Bing wants the Pistons to move back downtown.

"I think we can get the Pistons downtown," Bing said Thursday, according to the Detroit Free-Press.

Bing has referenced a new arena that could be home for the Pistons and the NHL's Red Wings. The Pistons currently play at the Palace of Auburn Hills in the suburbs of Detroit.

Yeah I think it would be great if the Pistons moved into detroit with all the other teams. But I dont want the Red Wings to leave the Joe Louis Arena though.

Nah, Palace is a great arena. No need to leave and go to <Censored>ty Detroit whatsoever.

Thanks for your opinion Bing, now go fix Detroit.

The Palace is soooo nice, but if the Wings end up getting a new arena then I might not be against them moving, until then they need to stay put.

Bring 'em back to Detroit! Just don't share an arena with the Wings!
It was wrong to ever leave Detroit and it has hurt the city financially ever since. Think of all the revenue the Pistons playing in Detroit could have brought to local establishments and bars!
