I tried to put together a list of the top 15 wing and big combos together according to PER. Obviously PER is not an end all be all, so do you agree with the list? And when yall do not, what changes would you make to it? And why?

Kevin Durant & Serge Ibaka - 50.06
LeBron James & Chris Bosh - 49.68
Rudy Gay & DeMarcus Cousins - 45.12
Kevin Martin & Kevin Love - 44.95
James Harden & Dwight Howard - 44.56
Tyreke Evans & Anthony Davis - 43.94
Carmelo Anthony & Tyson Chandler - 43.00
Monta Ellis & Dirk Nowitzki - 41.42
Manu Ginobli & Tim Duncan - 41.27
JJ Redick & Blake Griffin - 40.78
Nicolas Batum & LaMarcus Aldridge - 37.34
Josh Smith & Andre Drummond - 37.26
Paul George & Roy Hibbert - 36.09
DeMar Derozan & Amir Johnson - 33.75
Klay Thompson & David Lee - 33.43

Just seems subjective to me. Naturally, the pairs that have a wing that initiates a lot of the team's offense are going to fair better in this and it's hard to compare. For instance, JJ Redick & Blake Griffin vs. Tyreke Evans & Anthony Davis. While Redick potentially opens up the floor for Blake to operate, they don't have much baring on each others game, other than spacing as I outlined (I'm sure a lot of post entry's come from Redick's side of the floor). Comparatively, Tyreke & Davis could conceivably play off each other, as Tyreke initiates a lot of New Orleans' offense.

I don't know if any of that makes sense. I hate combined numbers for pairs. Don't think it shows much.

It makes sense, the combined PER's are there more so that I could put together actual combinations. I took the top 10-15 SG's and SF's and matched them up with a good big man.
