It is time to vote for the top 10 players in the NBA. Alot has changed in the last season so this should make for great discussion. Please try and vote for the best player and don't be a homer! I'll leave the polls open for about a day or so and after that we'll carry on to the #2 player and so on. I will more than likely add more players as we go since you can only add 20 at a time.

REMEMBER this is based on who is the best player, not the player who has the potential to be the best

Dirk Nowitzki is a better basketball player than Kobe Bryant in 2011...

oh yeah, I forgot Kobe's token all-defensive first teams courtesy of lazy dickriding sportswriters make him an elite defensive player. that compensates for his failing athleticism and average offensive skills other than chucking. my mistake, broken down 2011 kobe is still a top five player in the league.

I never said Kobe was an elite defensive player, but he's miles ahead of Dirk on the defensive end.

How does a player with a decent FG% score 25 PPG if he can't rely on his athleticism and he has average offensive skills? Kobe is not a chucker. He takes too many threes, but he's not a chucker.

Yes, considering how good prime Kobe was, a broken down Kobe is still better than a lot of people in the game.

Whether you want to believe it or not, Dirk is a one way player. Even when he puts in effort on the defensive end, he can't guard anybody. Which is not the case with a guy like Melo who could be a defensive stopper if he actually wanted to put the effort in on defense.

Kobe Bryant and average offensive skills don't belong in the same universe.
