It is time to vote for the top 5 players at every position. Alot has changed in the last season so this should make for great discussion. Please try and vote for the best player and don't be a homer! I'll leave the polls open for about a day or so and after that we'll carry on to the #3 PG and so on. I will more than likely add more players as we go since you can only add 20 at a time.

REMEMBER this is based on who is the best player, not the player who has the potential to be the best

I went ahead and skipped #2 because Kobe would have ran away with it.

2) Deron Williams
3) Derrick Rose
4) Rajon Rondo
5) Steve Nash

Went with JJ, had a down year last year because of the elbow injuries but he was a really good player before that

Joe Johnson

But Ellis and Martin are right on his heals. Martin truly ought to win one of these top 5 spots, but I dunno if others will vote with me.

I'd reckon Brandon Roy is talent wise, but he can't stay healthy. So I picked Joe Johnson.

Went with JJ, as CC said though if Roy could've stayed healthy he'd be the easy pick here.

K-Mart. Nobody gives him any respect - look at his numbers every year as a starter.

I love K-Mart, but I went with JJ. Who the hell chose Reke? o_O

Probably because his stats are hollow and he's the #1 option on bad teams every year. Doesn't help that he doesn't play a lick of defense either.

I know he's the #1 option, but he's as consistent of a scorer/shooter that there is in the league. Perhaps one of the best inside/outside offensive games.

As far as his defense, I know that's the stigma around him. If you look at in depth defensive stats, he only gives up .4 more per 48 minutes to his opponents than Kobe did last year, .3 more than Tony Allen. His defensive isn't honestly that bad. He also forces 2 more fouls than he gives up which is pretty great.

I went with manu but jj could be there if he was more consistant and eric gordan will be a force if he can stay healthy.
