Sam Amick talked to Dalembert's agent Marc Cornstein:
"I’ve said for a long time that if I could hand pick a team, (the Kings) would be the best fit for him."

Dalembert is garbage and it kinda pisses me off that after dealing with his poor play in Philly for so long, he's off to Sacramento the year before he expires. We just traded 1 pain in the ass (expensive) contract for another...hopefull Nocioni's change in scenery fits in well with what Doug Collins puts together on the floor.

Interesting. This deal could shake up how the 76'ers pick. I hear that Favors is looking more and more like their selection.

No its not lol. Trading Dalembert does not make a team change their draft plans, for either team.

So having a team with a bunch of swing men who play no defense and no center is not a problem?

You don't draft for need when you draft at #2, you take the best available player. Plus Jrue and Iggy are good defenders.. And Turner is a very good defender as well to go with that..

Favors isnt a center. We already have enough bigs with EB,Speights,Smith,Hawes. I wouldnt say iggy and thad play no defense at all. And jrue is known for his d.

I agree about Favors. But he'll likely be better than any big on that list, very soon. Favors stock is rising and I heard that Turner's is falling. I wouldn't be surprised if the Sixers try and screw us out of Favors though.

Favors rising and Turner falling.... oh the beauty of the draft work outs and combine which only showcase athletic ability and not the ability to play basketball. Turner will be the #2 pick.

Couple pieces of speculation:

Some have speculated that the Kings will now be more willing to deal for Prince since the trade helped address their needs at center and they still have a hole at small forward. Others say it makes it more likely the Kings will keep the fifth pick and draft a small forward -- possibly Wake Forest's Al-Farouq Aminu -- and less likely they will draft a big man -- like Kentucky's DeMarcus Cousins or Georgetown's Greg Monroe. That would help the Pistons by pushing those bigs down in the draft.
The trade of Dalembert could affect the top of the draft since the Sixers have been said to be deciding between Evan Turner and Derrick Favors. With Dalembert gone, the needle appears to have shifted to Favors for the Sixers, which would leave Turner -- the most-polished and NBA-ready player in the draft -- to New Jersey at No. 3.
It’s not a secret that the Pistons covet Kentucky center DeMarcus Cousins, and it appears after this afternoon’s trade between the Kings and the 76ers that they might get their man.

Philadelphia will send center Samuel Dalembert to Sacramento for forward Andres Nocioni and center Spencer Hawes, according to espn.com.

This is how it could affect the Pistons: The Wizards take John Wall with the No. 1 pick, and the Sixers, needing a big man now that Dalembert is gone, could go with Derrick Favors at No. 2. The Nets take Evan Turner at No. 3, the Timberwolves go with Wesley Johnson at No. 4, and the Kings, with Dalembert in tow, can pick a wing such as Wake Forest’s Al-Farouq Aminu at No. 5.

Then you could have the Warriors -- with Don Nelson’s preference for strong-passing big men -- taking Greg Monroe.

That would leave Cousins for the Pistons, if the Sixers or Warriors don’t decide to upset the apple cart and take him.

LOL. The Kings aren't taking a wing. We're going with a big. Why do you think we've only worked out Aminu ONCE and haven't worked out any other wings? Dally is only here for one year, Cousins (or Monroe) will take over after he's gone.

Perhaps you guys are really high on Dalembert? lol

Also there was that speculation of Prince and 7th for Nocioni and 5th, that was offered by YOU guys.
If they wanted a big so bad, why would they trade out of position to draft one like that? Perhaps you guys fell in love with Aminu.

But you are right it makes no sense, I'm just throwing out reasoning on why it may be true.

"We’re excited about the acquisition of Samuel Dalembert. He will certainly bring a defensive presence and increase our ability to defend around the basket with his rebounding, shot-blocking and athleticism. I think he’ll add a very different look to our team defensively and we’re really excited about having him. I also want to thank Spencer and Andres for their contributions here and wish them well with Philadelphia. It’s been an enjoyable time with both of them."

Who said that we offered that? I haven't seen that on any of the Kings sites I go to...

TYO posted it last night.

Sacramento Kings have offered their 5th pick and Nocioni to the Detroit Pistons for the 7th pick & Tayshaun Prince says ESPN's Chad Ford.

Hmmm...idk. I've heard we're very high on whoever that guy is from Marshall, so that's the only reason I'd see us doing it. I don't even know who that guy is tho lol.
