Apparently, rising free agent-of-choice Carlos Boozer is telling confidants he's either going to Detroit or New Jersey -- only way the capsized Nets pull that off is by doing a sign-and-trade. Word has it Jersey will have but three assistants next season and all must take pay cuts.
Not really shocked me rip and pugz have been saying all year long he would head to detroit. Im not sure how NJ would make it work.

Not surprised that he is considering NJ. On a Nets forum, he talked to a Net fan and said "I would love to play here", hopefully it isn't a big contract if we get him.

It will be a big contract considering he is opting out and he wants more money.

he wants more money and that's it. i would rather see someone come here for the fact we are a team with a rich winning histroy. BUT he'll help, and i just hope we can get a player like TChandler or Kaman(I perfer) to pair with him downlow.

looks like NJ and Detroit might get the next Elton Brand

A less talented Elton Brand who plays no defense.

yep

if he goes to Detroit or New Jersey, he's in trouble.

Boozer has only played good whenever he has a great playmaker around him like Deron wIlliams or a young Lebron

Lebron is young, he's only 24

I think he'll choose NJ over Detroit for some reason, I like Boozer's game though, mostly b/c of his ability to hit that mid range jumper and post you up.

No Way Utah S&T, they want to keep Memo and Millsap and they can't if they sign and trade..

I don't know why anyone says he sucks without a playmaker?
He has played on 2 teams in his career lol. Not like he chose to play without them. He obviously has the offensive skill set...

Lopez + Boozer, that would kill.

But then again Boozers style of play would fit real good in Detroit, plus he has a better chance of winning.

don't believe anything Boozer says -- remember when he said he'd stay in Cleveland?

he'll go wherever the money is

Devin and vc and bozo would be a sick trio. NJ would likely have a chance of advancing in the playoffs with booz.

They might have a chance at 40 wins, maybe.

I don't think this was posted.

Carlos Boozer is telling confidants he's either going to Detroit or New Jersey, according to a report from Peter Vecsey of the New York Post.

While the Pistons have cap space, the Nets would need to acquire Boozer via a sign and trade deal.

I would love for his ass to come here, as long as his injuries settle down.

I figured this had been posted, I heard about it around a week ago.

The Nets absolutely need a guy like this who goes down low, moves bodies and grabs rebounds, I would love it if we could pull off a sign and trade giving Utah Yi and other expirings,
