Royal Rumble plans?

In todays creative meeting going into Smackdown they discussed a possibility of doing a Hair vs Hair match at Royal Rumble between AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan.

Rumored Reason why Shane McMahon was booked to win the World Cup, plans for a heel turn

WWE hyped the tournament for weeks only to have Shane McMahon step in as The Miz replacement.

The Miz is not hurt and the way things went down is how WWE creative planned it. McMahon is going to be a heel and apparently, he will be calling himself the best in the world on WWE TV. There were subtle signs of a heel turn on Tuesday when he told wrestlers in a backstage segment that they would be fired if they lost the World Cup finals.

The idea is that Shane is going heel, Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio. Miz wasnt hurt. This was all booked to be exactly what it is the beginning of a Shane McMahon heel turn.

He added, When this tournament was first put together, this was always the finish. It was always going to be the finish that Shane was going to turn heel when this thing ends.
Presumably, this heel turn will play into the Raw vs. Smackdown storyline leading into Survivor Series

Update On Brock Lesnar’s WWE Status



 



For those wondering about the current contractual status of the newly crowned WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, it turns out that “The Beast” has at least two more WWE appearances slated for the future. One of which is a highly-anticipated rematch against SmackDown Live’s current WWE Champion, AJ Styles.
 
First reported by Dave Meltzer, Lesnar is apparently “signed for at least two more appearances.” He extrapolated his point, saying, “You always knew there’s a chance because how many times are you going to surprise people with Lesnar winning without people going, ‘Well there’s always a chance.’ So Lesnar is signed for at least two more appearances.”
 
When speculating on Brock’s potential opponents, Meltzer stated that “he’s going to face AJ at Survivor Series which is non-title and the plan is for Strowman, whether that’s at Rumble or Mania — I don’t know.”
“I can see Strowman winning the Rumble and facing Lesnar at Mania,” Meltzer predicated. “I could definitely see that.”

they should have the rumble match early in the night, have braun come out early, and lay waste to everyone. break the elimination record, no one even close to knocking him out, and then have him tell the crowd hes taking the belt tonight.

close the night with brock and braun with braun winning. boom, hes the monster among men again.

One Raw spoiler is that we have new Raw tag team champions. Yes Raw is taped tonight lol.

A Big Change Is Reportedly Being Made To #NXTTakeoverWarGames II

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline, as of right now, the plan is NOT to add another match to the card. Matt Riddle vs Kassius Ohno will be taped prior to the show starting and will air on a later episode of #NXT.

That means #TakeoverWarGames II will feature four matches instead of the usual five.

According to Meltzer, this is because the four matches on the card are expected to get a significant amount of time
