I think this is a good signing for the Athletics, their offense is putrid and any little bit helps. And besides, Manny isnt in a huge media market where he can cause a distraction. He also wasnt a distraction when he joined the White Sox and subsequently the Rays. I think hes going to be ok, as long as hes motivated of course. Interesting to see how embarassed he was and now he still wants to play.
