That really sucks. Shaun Hill is ass. Vikings season is basically over before it starts.

This sucks, but this team is too good overall for the season to be shot. Teddy thew only 14 TD passes last season, gave his best Ryan Lindley impression in the division clinching game, and couldn't even lead a touchdown drive in the playoff game. This is not a huge loss as far as production is concerned. If whoever takes his place avoids turnovers, the Vikings should be OK. Maybe not playoff caliber, but definitely not cellar dwellers.

Josh McCown would be a good option for them

It's definitely an option but I'd rather they found someone a bit more mobile.

I guess they are saying it was so bad that players were throwing up and he had to be put into a sedated state. Does not sound good at all

It was a dislocation and a complete ACL tear.

This without question hurts the Vikings, but I don't think it ruins their season.  I've never been a huge Bridgewater believer. They certainly can't go into week 1 with Shaun Hill starting and expect to win games, but if they can manage to grab a guy like McCown or Sanchez, they could still be in the playoff mix.

Hell, why not pull the trigger on Kaep?

Man this sucks. idk if the Vikings are still good enough to make the playoffs. I could see them doing it but this opens the NFC up a lot.

I wouldn't be surprised if Taylor Heinicke starts some games at QB for them this season. I kinda liked him as a late rounder in the draft a couple years ago.

They still have a solid roster and a good coach, plus they drew the NFC East and the AFC South this year so their schedule's not awful.

The NFC doesn't have a lot of depth either. I thought they were almost a lock until this happened.

They would have made the playoffs, Teddy was looking much better. Even if he played at the same rate he did last year, that defense is top 3 in the NFC. Will be interesting to see what they do at QB, but they cannot go into the season with Hill as their guy, or the season will be over

Great defense. Great head coach. Just get me a viable QB. There are guys available who shit all over Shaun Hill. Make something happen, FO.
